Case study, September 2026

We did it to our own store first.

Hogarazo is our own online store: electric fireplaces and infrared saunas, sold nationwide from Illinois, with the same problem every dealer has. A good catalog, and a Google presence that had to be built from nothing. Here is exactly what we did in the first week of September, with dates, so you can see the work before you buy it.

What changed

Six days, six fixes

DateWhat we didWhat Google did
Sep 1Product data on every product page (price, availability, brand) and a Merchant Center feed for 31 products and 114 variants.Google Shopping feed accepted; products entered review.
Sep 3Passed a Merchant Center misrepresentation review on the second attempt by fixing business details, shipping and refund policies in both languages.228 product listings eligible in Google Shopping the same night.
Sep 3Published bilingual buying guides and comparison pages, English and Spanish, with structured data and the manufacturer's electrical specs.New pages returned in Search Console; indexing requested the same day.
Sep 4Rebuilt the product page trust block: delivery terms, warranty by product line, a real contact block, in both languages.Consistent policy pages across the store, the requirement Merchant Center checks.
Sep 5Corrected a manufacturer spec (a dedicated 20 amp circuit) across guides, product pages, pins and reels within one morning of the supplier's email. No wrong claim left on any surface Google reads.
Sep 5Checked indexing on the six collection and contractor pages published Sep 3.Four indexed on their own within two days; the other two requested and queued.

About that second attempt

Google's automated checks flagged the account for misrepresentation twice in four days. The first review, requested August 31, cleared on September 1; a fresh flag at 4:41 AM on September 3 pulled all 228 listings out of Shopping the same morning.

The cause we found was a mismatch between what the feed said and what the store said: one catch-all shipping policy in Merchant Center promised 14 to 20 days on every product, while the store's own pages said 5 to 10 business days for in-stock fireplaces and 15 to 30 for saunas. Delivery data that does not match the site is one of the cases Google reads as misrepresentation.

We replaced it with a single policy that matches the store, 0 to 2 business days of handling plus 5 to 30 in transit with the time zone stated, then aligned the business details and the shipping and refund pages in both languages before requesting the review. Google closed it the same evening. Checking the Merchant Center shipping and return policies against the live site is now a step we do before anyone presses request review, not after.

Everything above is on hogarazo.com and in Google's own tools. We do not publish sales figures for our store, and we will never publish yours.

Why it matters to you

The same three fixes, on your site

Product data Google Shopping can read, a Business Profile and site that point at each other, and a page in Spanish. That is the pilot. We have already done every step of it under our own name, under Google's review, with the supplier's specs and both languages. The only difference on your site is that you keep the work and we do it in 14 days.
